Especially for Santa Barbara images, please inquire about specific topics; I am likely to have them in a variety of formats.Who is Bill Zeldis?I am a Santa Barbara-based photographer. For 35 years I specialized in architectural photography for resorts, hotels, and design clients worldwide, in places as diverse as Chile, Japan, New Zealand and France. While on these assignments, I developed an eye for “travel” photography as well, and began to document the many places and people that my wife Mary and I met as we traveled. This type of photography has led us to many wonderful friendships, and to a remarkable collection of images.Since 1967 I’ve admired and photographed our beautiful home town of Santa Barbara. I now have a diverse set of scenic and architectural portraits of this vibrant city through many, many seasons. Over two hundred of these images have been published in our Santa Barbara Calendar over the past 20 years; others appear in our books, All About the Red-Tile City and the acclaimed Santa Barbara Photographs.This web site exists to share with you some of my favorite and most compelling images from these years, and also to bring new projects to light.
